Steve DeWindt is a senior corporate executive who has provided leadership during critical high-growth stages of well-known high technology industry pioneers such as Intel and Computer2000 AG. Steve’s executive management and global sales experience spans more than four decades. During his career, Steve has led international teams that have generated more than $7 billion in sales at both large companies and startups.

His executive management experience includes time as Co-President of Computer2000 AG, a mammoth German public company that was an international wholesale distributor of information technology products subsequently acquired by TechData. Under his guidance, Computer2000 AG grew from $800 million to $3.5 billion in sales in less than four years. Steve also served as CEO and Chairman of AmeriQuest Technologies, an NYSE-traded wholesale distributor of information technology products. More recently he was CEO of Wayside Technology Group, a NASDAQ-listed wholesale IT products distributor. Steve held several executive positions at Intel, including Director of Worldwide Reseller Sales, with responsibility for indirect sales channels, as well as the development and implementation of new distribution strategies.

Steve also has hands-on entrepreneurial experience, including his tenure as co-founder of Sparxent, a roll up of service providers, and most recently as president and chairman of OptionEase, a software-as-a-service financial services company where Steve engineered its sale to Solium Capital. He then continued at Solium with overall responsibility for US sales, growing their revenues until the firm was acquired by Morgan Stanley. Early in his career, Steve oversaw international marketing and business affairs for Walt Disney Corporation’s Record and Music Division.

Steve holds an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, and a BA in Business from Principia College.
